🌄 Overview

The Cameron Highlands is a district in Pahang, Malaysia occupying an area of 712.18 square kilometres. To the north, its boundary touches that of Kelantan; to the west, it shares part of its border with Perak.

Mount Siku is a mountain and is nearby to Bukit Tajam and Mount Triangle.

Daily Hiking Permits are limited, so do book early to secure your slots for the event. Event is subjective to permits approval and registration will be closed 1month before event date or until the permits are fully finished.

🥾 What to Expect on the Trail

  • Terrain: Well-marked trail through dense jungle, mossy forest paths, and some muddy patches (especially after rain).
  • Trail Markings: Clear checkpoints and trail signs along the way. Navigation is straightforward if you follow the path closely.
  • Flora & Fauna: Expect to see moss-covered trees, pitcher plants, wild orchids, and possibly highland birds and small mammals.
  • Summit View: The summit offers a peaceful resting spot with sweeping views of the surrounding mountain ranges and valleys — a stunning photo opportunity.

Participants should be fit enough to trek on average of 6-7hours on moderate terrain. Should have prior hiking experience on Malaysia trails. Physically and mentally should be well prepared.

13 Feb 2026 – Day 1 : Meetup and Drive to Cameron Highlands

09.00pm Meetup with SGTREK LEADER and Attendance / Briefing on Friday night

Take transport to Cameron Highlands (we will take a few stops for breaks along the way)

14 Feb 2026 – Day 2 : Meetup Guides / Start Hike

Early morning we will arrive at Cameroon Highland – We will head to break fast first and Meetup with the Local Guides/Team.

08:00am – Meeting point (Brinchang) (Packed lunch pack will be issued)

  • 08.00am   – Gather at BHP Kg. Raja.
  • 08.30am   – Safety Briefing.
  • 08.45am   – Moving to Vegetable Farm.
  • 09.00am   – Reaching HSK Signboard.
  • 09.10am   – Start Forest Hike
  • 09.30am   – Bukit Penat
  • 10.00am – Puncak Balak
  • 10.30am – Mossy Area
  • 11.00am – Mossy Ridge
  • 12.00am – Reach Mount Siku Peak
  • 01.00pm  –  Start Descend
  • 01.30pm  –  Puncak balak
  • 02.00pm  –  Bukit Penat
  • 03.00pm  –  Pintu rimba
  • 03.30pm  –  Back to Starting point. Farewell.
  • 04:00 PM – End Of Adventurous Hike.

15 Feb 2026 – Day 3 : Free & Easy – Drive back Singapore

  • 07:00am – Wake up early and walk around (Breakfast on own)
  • 09:00am-10:00am – Check out and will head back Singapore. If we have time we will stop our Tea Plantation and Waterfalls along the way
  • (Lunch/Dinner stopover along the route – own cost)
  • 10:00pm-11.00pm Estimated Arrival Singapore.
