Gunung Parang Via Ferrata is the perfect adventure for those looking to experience a via Ferrata climb. There are options of 100m, 300m and 900m climbs on the mountain, and our SGTrek adventure will be taking on the 900m challenge.
It is moderately challenging climb in terms of physical fitness as you are required to exert strength from all 4 of your limbs, and you will be descending in the dark. Those with a fear of heights have to take note that this climb will be up an exposed wall so it might be a bit challenging.

Event Grading: Not suitable for people with fear of heights. Guides will teach you on how to use the basic climbing equipment. No special skills needed. If you have rock climbing skills will be advantage.

Transfer to Basecamp Gunung Parang
Via Ferrata 900m

Sunrise Hunting
Wash up and prepare for departure
Back to Jakarta Airport (Soekarno-Hatta International Airport)
Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1
- 0835: Arrive at Jakarta Airport
- 0900: Clear Immigration & Pick up at Airport
- 0900 – 1300: Transfer to Homestay
- 1400 – 1700: Ascend Via Ferrata 900m
- 1700 – 1800: Enjoy Summit 900m via Ferrata
- 1800 – 2000: Descend Via Ferrata
- 2000: Dinner and Rest
Day 2:
- 0500 – 0600: Sunrise Hunting (Optional)
- 0630 – 0900: Breakfast, Washup & Prepare for return
- 0900 – 1300: Transfer to Airport
- 1300: Arrive at Jakarta Airport (Or later depending on traffic conditions)
