The journey to Sungai Yong Falls in Johor offers an exhilarating adventure through stunning landscapes, including picturesque oil palm plantations. The falls boast seven tiers that cascade through a narrow gorge, creating a breathtaking sight. However, it is crucial to exercise extreme caution during the hike as the rocks can be quite slippery.

As you trek along the Sungai Yong, you will be treated to views of the river surrounded by lush vegetation. Massive blocks of stones and boulders strategically slow down the rushing waters, creating a mesmerizing spectacle. This natural wonder provides a serene escape into the heart of nature, making it a must-visit destination for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.

  • Event registration closes 1 weeks before to the event date or before the event gets full. 
  • Do check you have a valid passport/Expiry date for the event, as passport copy will be needed to apply permits.
  • Once the event permits are applied, event cost is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Meetup Time : 06:00 am (06.10am depart from Marsiling Mrt Bus Stop) – Do be on time. We will not be waiting for late comers.

ITINERARY HIGHLIGHTS:

Day1:

  • 06.00am – meetup at Marsiling Mrt and quick briefing. Do ensure to have your breakfast prior to the meet up or you can bring some food along to eat in the vehicle or before the start of the hike.
  • 06.10am we will depart to cross over Singapore and Johor Checkpoint. Can buy things at Johor customs (water, snacks, lunch pack etc.)
  • We will stop in Johor for breakfast and shopping of snacks, water,drinks
  • 09.00am – Reach Belumut Base. Meet up with the local guides and prepare for the hike. Safety briefing before the adventure.
  • Tentative Itinerary:
  • 09.15 Am – Meetup at Hutan Lipur Belumut with local staffs.
  • 09.30 Am – Going to Waterfall By 4×4.
  • 10.30 Am – Arrive at campsite and setup tents
  • 12:00 Noon – Explore waterfalls
  • 03.00 Pm – Trekking Back to campsite

Day2: 

  • Wake up morning *free and easy
  • 10:00 am Pack-up up, Clean campsite and head back to start point.
  • 11:30 am arrive at the start of the carpark. Clean up and head back to Singapore
  • We will stop in Johor for Shopping, Massage , Food etc.
  • 06:00 pm Arrive back to Singapore. End of trip
  • *Itinerary may vary along the way accordingly to the weather condition on the day.

  • Long-sleeved T-shirt and long track bottom / Change of clothes
  • Personal medication if any
  • Raincoat or windbreaker
  • 1 pair good shoe for hiking
  • 1 sandal/slipper
  • 1 headlamp / Torchlight
  • Insurance is a must to have for adventure sports
  • Energy bars/light snacks.
