Gunung Gede and Gunung Pangrango are two peaks located in the famous Gede-Pangrango National Park 2 hours away from Jakarta. Standing at 2958m and 3019m respectively, the twin peaks provides a picturesque trek all the way to the top.
The hike is not technically difficult but you will be expected to trek about 7 – 8 hours each day, so it is important to be able to walk long distances.

Event Grading: Suitable for people who are fit enough to hike for 5-6hours in steep terrain. Basic climbing experience on Malaysian mountains like Gunung Lambak, Belumut, Ledang and similar.

Day 1:
Begin Hiking to Campsite
Hike to campsite at camp gajahan
Set up Tent and spend the night in Camp Surya Kencana (Tent Accommodation Included)
Day 2:
Summit Puncak Gunung Gede
Continue Trekking to Mandala Wangi Campsite
Set up Tent and spend the night in Camp Mandala Wangi (Tent Accommodation Included)
Day 3:
Summit Puncak Gunung Pangrango
Descend Back to Basecamp
Transfer back to Homestay Cibodas

Day 1: Base Camp to Camp Site Surya Kencana
- 0600 – 0800: Breakfast at Homestay and Prepare for Hike

- 1000 – 1230: Hike from Basecamp to Pos 2
- 1230 – 1330: Rest & Lunch
- 1330 – 1730: Hike from Pos 2 to Campsite

- 0600 – 0730: Sunrise & Explore Surya Kencana
