DETAILED ITINERARY:
Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu
Arrive in Paro, one of the world’s most scenic airports.
Drive to Thimphu (1.5 hours).
Visit:
National Institute for Zorig Chusum (13 Traditional Arts & Crafts)
Takin Preserve Center – home of Bhutan’s national animal
Buddha Dordenma Statue – panoramic city views
Tashichho Dzong – administrative seat and monastery
Local craft markets
Overnight in Thimphu.
Day 2: Thimphu – Punakha (2.5 hours drive)
Drive across Dochula Pass (3,100m) with views of the Himalayas.
Visit:
Dochula Chortens (108 stupas)
Punakha Dzong – one of Bhutan’s most beautiful fortresses
Suspension Bridge – Bhutan’s longest bridge
Chimi Lhakhang – Temple of Fertility
Overnight in Punakha.
Day 3: Punakha – Phobjikha Valley (Gangtey)
Drive to Gangtey/Phobjikha Valley (approx. 2 hours).
Visit:
Gangtey Monastery – important Nyingma site
Phobjikha Valley – winter home of black-necked cranes
Nature Trail Walk through the serene valley
Enjoy peaceful countryside views.
Overnight in Gangtey/Phobjikha.
Day 4: Phobjikha – Paro (6 hours drive)
Scenic drive back to Paro.
Visit:
Paro Rinpung Dzong – fortress-monastery overlooking the valley
National Museum of Bhutan – ancient artifacts and art
Evening stroll around Paro town.
Overnight in Paro.
Day 5: Bumdra Trek (7 km / 4 hours / +1000m ascent)
Drive to Sang Choekor Monastery (2800m) – trek starting point.
Begin trek through pine forest and ridgeline with stunning views.
Reach Bumdra Monastery (3800m) – “Rock of One Hundred Thousand Footprints.”
Optional short hike (2–3 hrs) to a nearby 4000m peak for panoramic Himalayan views.
Overnight camping at Bumdra (3800m).
Day 6: Trek to Tiger’s Nest – Paro (15 km / 6 hours / +100m, -1200m)
Descend via forest trail to Zangto Pelri Lhakhang, overlooking Tiger’s Nest.
Continue trek to Taktsang Monastery (3100m) – Bhutan’s most iconic landmark.
Explore the temple complex before descending to the trailhead.
Drive back to hotel.
Overnight in Paro.
Day 7: Departure from Paro
After breakfast, transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward flight.
End of Tour.

Once the tour has commenced, no refund shall be made for any portion of the trip not utilized by the participant. This includes, but is not limited to, services such as accommodation, transport, meals, or trekking arrangements that are unused due to personal reasons, illness, or early departure.
In the event that the tour or any part thereof must be cancelled, delayed, or altered due to Force Majeure conditions — including but not limited to adverse weather, natural disasters, flight disruptions, political unrest, or any other circumstances beyond the operator’s control —
- The full tour amount is strictly non-refundable.
- Every effort will be made to modify or reschedule the affected portion of the itinerary in coordination with local authorities and service providers.
- Any additional costs arising from such changes (e.g., extended stays, alternative transport, or revised logistics) shall be borne by the participants.
