DETAILED ITINERARY:

Day 01: Cairo

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, meet our representative and take a transfer to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at Cairo.

Day 02: Cairo / Aswan

Today after breakfast explore the ancient Egypt with a visit to the famous Pyramids. The Great Pyramid of Cheops which was built by manual labor, is the largest of the three main Pyramids and is the only survivor of the Seven Great Wonders of the Ancient World, the Pyramid of Chephren, which is the best preserved, and the Pyramid of Mycerinus. Nearby see the Great Sphinx, a marvelous sight carved out of a natural rocky outcrop, the lion’s body stretching 45m, with its paws 15m long.

Then visit The Egyptian Musuem, one of the world’s most important collections of ancient artefacts, the Egyptian Museum takes pride of place in Downtown Cairo, on the north side of Midan Tahrir. Inside the great domed, oddly pinkish building, the glittering treasures of Tutankhamun and other great pharaohs lie alongside the grave goods, mummies, jewellery, eating bowls and toys of Egyptians whose names are lost to history.

In the evening, take a transfer to the railway station to board the overnight train to Aswan. Stay overnight in the train.

Day 03: Aswan

Upon arrival in the morning, meet our representative and take a transfer to the city and board the Nile Cruise boat. After lunch, Explore the main landmarks of the city, including the High Dam and Philae Temple. The High Dam is an engineering wonder, built in 1960 to save Egypt from the flooding of the Nile. The Dam provides a huge water reservoir known as Lake Nasser, one of the biggest artificial lake in the world.

After your visit to the High Dam, you will take a short motor boat ride to the Philae temple. The temple was relocated to its current location by UNESCO after the building of the High Dam in order to prevent its inundation. Enjoy free time to explore the beauty of the temple and its surroundings before being transported back to your Cruise & overnight

Day 04: Aswan – Kom Ombo

Breakfast, Free time

Noon, sailing to Kom Ombo

Lunch on board then, visit the Dual Temple of Sobek and Haroeris.

The temple at Kom Ombo is about 30 miles (48 km) north of Aswan and was built during the Graeco-Roman period (332 BC AD 395). There was an earlier structure from the 18th dynasty but little remains.

Enjoy sailing to Edfu

Stay overnight on-board the Nile Cruise.

Day 05: Edfu – Luxor

After breakfast on the cruise, visit the famous Temple of Horus, the falcon God

This Ptolemaic temple, built between 237 and 57 BC, is one of the best-preserved ancient monuments in Egypt. Preserved by desert sand, which filled the place after the pagan cult was banned, the temple is dedicated to Horus, the avenging son of Isis and Osiris. With its roof intact, it is also one of the most atmospheric of ancient buildings.

Day 06: Luxor – Cairo

After breakfast, Disembarkation.

proceed on an unforgettable journey enjoying the sights of Luxor’s west bank, the Necropolis of the ancient city of Thebes. At the Valley of the Kings, which is the burial place of the kings of Thebes, enjoy the remnants of three majestic tombs. Continue to the Temple of Hatshepsut and discover the history of the temple. Enjoy a brief photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon, which marks the site of the funerary temple of Amenhotep III.

Then , Visit Karnak Temple ,This huge temple complex was the center of the ancient faith while power was concentrated at Thebes (modern day Luxor) and its significance is reflected in its enormous size. In addition to its religious significance, it also served as a treasury, administrative center, and palace for the New Kingdom pharaohs. Largest temple complex ever constructed anywhere in the world.

After that, Visit to Luxor Temple, This temple might be the greatest testament to why Luxor has earned its nickname, “The World’s Largest Outdoor Museum”. Luxor Temple modern city of Luxor, which is built on the site of the ancient Egyptian capital of Thebes. The temple is one of the best preserved of all of the ancient monuments with large amounts of the structure, statuary and relief carvings still intact, making it one of the most impressive visits in the Luxor area and all of Egypt.

Later in the evening, take a transfer to the railway station to board the overnight train to Cairo. Stay overnight aboard the train.

Day 07: Cairo

Upon arrival in Cairo in the morning, Today we will visit Saladin Citadel which constructed by Salah al-Din on the Moqattam Hills in 1183 AD as a defense against Crusader armies. Known for its fresh air and sweeping views of Cairo, it is now a preserved historic site of mosques and museums, including the Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha.

It Designed by the Turkish architect Yousif Boushnaq, who came to Cairo especially from Istanbul to build the great building, the mosque’s alabaster structure stands in beautiful contrast to the sandstone city.

Later visit Khan El Khalili Bazaars, located in the heart of Islamic Cairo, this busy and colorful open-air bazaar is filled with unique and exotic items from spices and perfumes to jewelry and souvenirs.

Day 08: Final Departure

After Breakfast, check out & take a transfer to Cairo APT for final departure.
