Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Ulaanbaatar (UB)
- Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and meet your guide and driver. Group pickup from Ulaanbaatar Airport.
- Visit the Zaisan Memorial, a tribute to Mongolian and Soviet soldiers of World War II, with panoramic city views.
- Lunch at a local restaurant.
- Check into your hotel and enjoy a city tour.
- Meals: Dinner.
Day 2: Chinggis Khan Statue & Terelj National Park
- After breakfast, drive 65 km to visit the Chinggis Khan Equestrian Statue, a 40-meter tall monument of Mongolia’s great leader.
- Continue to Terelj National Park for its stunning natural beauty and rock formations.
- Enjoy lunch and explore the park before returning to UB in the evening.
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 3: Fly to Ulgii City – Altai Mountains
- Take an early flight to Ulgii City in western Mongolia.
- Drive towards the Twin Lakes of Syrgaali in Altai Tavan Bogd National Park.
- Discover ancient petroglyphs and Turkic stones during the journey.
- Settle into a traditional ger camp near a nomadic family, just 15 km from the Chinese border.
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 4: Explore the Twin Lakes & Nomadic Life
- Relax amidst the serene landscapes of the Twin Lakes.
- Spend the day engaging with nomadic families, learning their traditions, and experiencing activities like horse riding, hiking, and fishing.
- Marvel at snowcapped mountains, dense forests, and cascading waterfalls.
- Overnight in a ger or tent.
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 5: Return to Ulgii & Meet Eagle Hunters
- Drive back to Ulgii City.
- Visit a Kazakh Eagle Hunter’s family and learn about the ancient tradition of hunting with Golden Eagles.
- Experience the bond between the hunter and his bird.
- Overnight with the Eagle Hunter’s family.
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 6: Horseback Adventure with Golden Eagles
- Spend the day horseback riding alongside a Kazakh hunter and a Golden Eagle.
- Take stunning photographs and learn basic eagle hunting techniques.
- Enjoy the serene atmosphere of South River Camp, with opportunities to spot wildlife like ibex, foxes, and argal sheep.
- Visit a traditional Kazakh souvenir shop.
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 7: Return to Ulaanbaatar & Gandan Monastery
- Fly back to Ulaanbaatar and transfer to your hotel.
- Visit the iconic Gandan Monastery, a center of Mongolian Buddhism.
- Explore the city center or shop for souvenirs in your free time.
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 8: Departure
- Bid farewell to Mongolia and transfer to the airport for your return flight. Group departure to Ulaanbaatar Airport.
