🌄 Overview
Bukit Baginda is a popular short but adventurous hike near Batu Kikir in Kampung Majau, Kuala Pilah District, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. The hill reaches about 450 m above sea level, and its main attraction is the Wave Rock, a unique natural boulder with wave-like ridges that hikers love to see up close.
🥾 Trail Details
Distance: ~4.2 km round trip (about 2.1 km one way).
Elevation: ~450 m above sea level.
Duration: Typically 1.5–2 hours up and ~1 hour down for most hikers.
Trail Type: Forest trail starting from a base area, gradually turning steeper and sometimes slippery the closer you get to Wave Rock.
🪨 What You’ll See
🪨 What You’ll SeeWave Rock: A huge boulder (~40 m wide and ~20 m high) with distinctive vertical ridges that resemble giant wave patterns — the main reason most hikers come here.
Forest & Flora: The trail winds through lush jungle and rubber plantations with native plants and occasional wildlife.
Other Rocks: You’ll pass several other interesting rocky outcrops along the way.
4 Unexplored Caves: Around the hill (not officially open for visitors yet).

Trail Difficulty: Good for beginners with basic fitness level. One should be comfortable in walking up to 2-3hours with some steep climbs. Also, if got some rock-climbing experience would be advantage.

11:00 PM – Meetup at Marsiling MRT Bus Stop (Maxi Cash)
• Registration and quick briefing by Event Coordinators
• Final checks before departure
11:10 PM – Depart towards Woodlands Checkpoint
• Cross Singapore–Johor border
• Short stop at Johor Customs for last-minute purchases (snacks, water, etc.)
Late Night / Early Morning
• Continue drive towards Batu Kikir Town
• Stop at a local eatery for early breakfast (Own cost)
• Participants may pack food for the hike (Own cost)
07 February 2026 (Saturday)
07:00 AM – Arrive at Bukit Baginda trailhead
• Meet local hiking guides
• Safety briefing and trail introduction
07:15 AM – Start hiking
07:30 AM – 09:30 AM –
• Reach Wave Rock / Summit area
• Photo session
• Enjoy packed lunch
• Rest, relax, and take in the scenic views
10:00 AM – Descend back to trailhead
11:00 AM – Depart from trailhead
• Head to nearest R&R stop with shower facilities

• Lunch stop along the return route
