DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Leh & Local Exploration (D)

Arrive at Leh Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport.
Meet and greet by our tour escort and transfer to the hotel.
Rest and acclimatize to high altitude.
Afternoon sightseeing tour:
- Shanti Stupa – A serene white-domed Buddhist stupa with panoramic views of Leh.
- Leh Palace – A historic royal palace with stunning views of the Indus Valley.
- Leh Market – Free time to explore and shop for souvenirs.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Monastery Tour – Shey, Thiksey & Hemis (B,D)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit the spiritual and cultural highlights of Leh:
- Shey Palace – Former summer palace of the Ladakhi kings, known for its giant copper Buddha statue.
- Thiksey Monastery – A stunning 12-story monastery resembling the Potala Palace in Tibet.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (B,D)

Visit Diskit Monastery – Home to the famous 32m Maitreya Buddha statue.

Nubra Valley: Also known as Ldumra, “Valley of Flowers,” situated between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges. Diskit Monastery: The oldest and largest monastery in Nubra, with strong Tibetan mythological significance.

Day 4: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shyok Route (B,D)

Breakfast at the hotel/camp.
Drive towards Pangong Lake via Shyok route – A scenic drive through rugged landscapes.
Arrive at the mesmerizing Pangong Lake (4,350m) – The famous blue lake featured in Bollywood films.
Free time to explore and enjoy the beauty of the lake.
Dinner and overnight stay in a lakeside camp.

Day 5: Pangong Lake to Leh (B,D)

Early morning sunrise views over Pangong Lake.
Breakfast at the camp.
Drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass (5,360m) – Another stunning high-altitude pass.
Stop at Thiksey Monastery (if not visited earlier) or enjoy leisure time in Leh.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Day 6: Departure from Leh (B)
