DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 01: LEH LADAKH (Little Tibet)

Meals: Dinner

Arrive at Kushok Bakula airport in Leh, meet your representative, and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Spend the day acclimatizing and relaxing. If you feel better, you can explore Leh market and visit the Shanti Stupa for a sunset view. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Shanti Stupa: Built by Japanese Buddhist monk Gyomyo Nakamura in 1991, this white dome stupa offers panoramic views of Leh and is a symbol of peace.

Day 02: LEH – SHAM VALLEY TOUR – LEH (140km, 6-7hrs round trip)

Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Start with a visit to the Kali Mata Temple, Hall of Fame Museum, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and Magnetic Hill. See the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers, then explore Alchi Monastery and its village market. Return to Leh to explore the vibrant Mall Road. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Sham Valley: Known for its picturesque landscapes, ancient monasteries, and apricot orchards. Alchi Monastery: A 10th-century monastic complex with unique flat-ground architecture.

Day 03: LEH – KHARDUNGLA – NUBRA (150km, 5-6hrs)

Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung-la Pass, one of the highest motorable roads. Visit Diskit Monastery, then proceed to Hunder for a camel ride on the sand dunes. Overnight stay at a hotel or camp in Nubra Valley.

Nubra Valley: Also known as Ldumra, “Valley of Flowers,” situated between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges. Diskit Monastery: The oldest and largest monastery in Nubra, with strong Tibetan mythological significance.

Day 04: NUBRA – PANGONG LAKE VIA SHAYOK (160km, 5-6hrs)

Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Drive to Pangong Lake via Shayok. Check in at the camp or hotel and enjoy the mesmerizing beauty and changing colors of the lake. Evening free to explore. Overnight stay at Pangong Lake.

Pangong Lake: A high-altitude lake known for its stunning beauty and strategic importance. It changes colors multiple times a day.

Day 05: PANGONG LAKE – CHANG LA – LEH VIA HEMIS – THIKSEY – SHEY PALACE (170 km, 8-9 hrs)

Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Enjoy a morning stroll around Pangong Lake, then drive back to Leh, visiting Hemis Monastery, Thiksey Monastery, and Shey Palace en route. Evening free for personal activities. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Chang La Pass: One of the highest motorable passes in the world. Hemis Monastery: Associated with Naropa, the founding father of the Kagyu lineage. Thiksey Monastery: Known for its beautiful architecture and important Buddhist artifacts.

Day 06: DEPART TO LEH AIRPORT

Meals: Breakfast

Morning transfer to the airport to board your scheduled flight to Delhi.

COST INCLUSIONS:

Accommodation: 05 nights / 06 days on double/twin sharing basis with breakfast and dinner (MAP) at the specified hotels.
Transfers: All arrival and departure transfers by chartered transport (Toyota Innova Crysta, Mahindra Scorpio, or Mahindra Xylo) as per the itinerary from Leh to Leh Airport.
Inner Line Permits: All necessary permits for travel.
Mineral Water: 1000ml bottle of mineral water per day per person.
Tour Escort: English-speaking tour escort from Leh to Leh Airport.
Additional Costs Covered: All fuel charges, state tax, toll tax, parking, and driver allowance.
Entrance Fees: Fees for monuments, monasteries, and museums.

Unforeseen Expenses: Costs due to reasons beyond control such as bad weather, natural calamities (landslides, floods), flight delays/rescheduling/cancellations, accidents, medical evacuations, riots/strikes/war, etc.
Itinerary Changes: Expenses due to changes in dates or itinerary.
Adventure Activities: Costs for activities like river rafting and camel riding.
Insurance: Medical and travel insurance.
Heater Charges: Extra charges for heaters, if required.
Meals: any meals other than stated in the itinerary
Travel Insurance: Insurance to cover any evacuation or medical emergency
