Mount Korbu is a mountain in Hulu Kinta, Perak, Malaysia, about 25 km from Ipoh. It is the highest peak of the Titiwangsa Mountains, the southernmost section of the Tenasserim Hills. Mount Korbu is also the second highest mountain in Peninsular Malaysia, standing at 2,183 meters.

Mount Gayong is the fourth highest mountain in the Malay Peninsula, at 2,173 meters. It can be reached in about an hour’s trek from the peak of Mount Korbu, the second highest mountain in Peninsular Malaysia.

Day 1: Meetup and Drive to trail head

  • 0800pm Meetup and briefing
  • Drive to trail head (few stops for breaks along the way)

Day 2: Meetup Guides / Start Hike

  • 0800am Empangan Sultan Azlan Shah & final check
  • 0900am Reach Starting Point – Briefing by Main Guider
  • 0100pm Waterfall
  • 0200pm Camp Seroja
  • 0300pm Camp Kijang (Campsite) – Free & Easy Activity
  • 0700pm Dinner 

Day 3: Ulu Sepat Summit

  • 0600am Breakfast
  • 0630am Start Summit Attack
  • 0830am Last Waterpoint
  • 1000am Botak Peak
  • 1230pm Korbu Peak & lunch break
  • 0200pm Gayong Peak
  • 0230pm Start Descent
  • 0330pm Korbu Peak
  • 0500pm Botak Peak
  • 0700pm Kem Kijang
  • 0830pm Dinner – Free & Easy Activity

Day 4: End of Hike – Back to Singapore

  • 0700am Breakfast & unpack

  • After the hike the transport will pick-up and drive back to Singapore
  • Lunch/Dinner stop along the way (*at own cost)
