Ghorepani Poon Hill trekking presents you magnificent sight of vast mountain ranges of Annapurna. The Ghorepani Poon Hill trek is a 3 day hike in the Annapurna mountain range in Nepal. It takes a moderate level of fitness to complete, and the max elevation is 3,210 meters (so there’s no real risk of altitude sickness). For those people who are beginners and wanted to experience the mountain ranges of Himalaya this trek is more suitable for you. As now the roads as much better and easily accessible via transport so you need much shorter days to trek to reach the picturesque of Annapurna range.

DETAILED ITINERARY
Arrive in Kathmandu as per the itinerary and update us of your arrival flight details to Kathmandu Airport.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Welcome to Kathmandu (1320m). Our representative will be at the airport. Upon arrival you will be heartily welcomed by him putting garland on your neck which means welcome to Nepal. Then you will be driven to the hotel by car. Rest and enjoy the day around the town.

Day 02: Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m) by Tourist Bus about 7 hours. Pokhara is located about 200 km west from Kathmandu and the tourist coach takes about 7 hours to get there. The drive mostly fallows along Trishuli River side enjoying the view of landscapes. At the Evening you may take short sightseeing around lakeside Pokhara.

Day 03: After breakfast in Pokhara drive to Nayapul and start walk to Tikhedhunga (1540m) or Ulleri (2020m). The drive takes 1.5 hours to Nayapul (42km) by car. After check in at Birethati, trails leads up through the beautiful rice, maize and millet farms of locals through Bhurundikhola along with the great scenery passing through several countryside villages all the way up to Tikhedhunga. If you want to walk further until Ulleri, you need to climbs about 2000 stones steps from Tikhedhunga.

Day 04: Trek from Tikhedhunga or Ulleri to Ghorepani (2860m) about 6 hours. The trail goes steep up for 1.5 hours through stone steps where the trail leads through cultivated fields Rest of trails goes through inside (blooms on March, April) rhododendron and Oak forest. Arrive at the top of the Ghorepani pass and camp there.

Day: 05: Trek from Ghorepani to Ghandruk (1940m) about 7 hours. Early morning hike to Poon Hill (3210m) for amazing sunrise view about an hour walk. The view of the shining mountains is good for photograph, after about one hours exiting sunrise we will back down to the lodge at Ghorepani and trek to Tadapani after breakfast. The beginning parts of the trek the trail steep uphill to the ridge through the stone steps till Deurali. After reaching on top we head up and down through the rhododendron forest, step down to the small river to cross the bridge and small up till Tadapani. From Tadapani we will gradually down to Ghandruk. Ghandruk is a beautiful village occupied with ethnic cast Gurung where you could explore its rich culture as well as museum.

Day 06: Trek from Ghandruk to Nayapul takes 4 hours then drive to Pokhara 1.5 hours. Walk all the way down through steps till Syauli bazaar. Then follow the newly constructed road till Birethanti along with Modi River. After check out from the check point head to Nayapul and grab a car to Pokhara.

Day 07: Early morning drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus. Rest and shop in Kathmandu.

Day 08: Fly to Home Country.
Morning after breakfast, we will drop you back to Kathmandu Airport. We will put you Khada (a kind of cloth which is used to wear on your neck). Wearing Khada means good luck and protection. See you next time.
