Gunung Chemendong, standing at 846 meters, is a mountain located in Kluang District, Johor, Malaysia. For the average climber, the climb to the summit takes 4 to 6 hours and the return to the foot takes 3 to 4 hours. Only few hour’s drive from Singapore makes it to be an ideal training place for Singaporeans. This is one of the 3 tallest peaks of Kluang. Come join us and experience the adventure.

Event registration closes 1 weeks before to the event date or before the event gets full.
Do check you have a valid passport/Expiry date for the event, as passport copy will be needed to apply permits.
Once the event permits are applied, event cost is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Advised to get travel insurance once you book the event.

Meetup Time : 05.15 am (05.30am depart from Marsiling Mrt Bus Stop) – Do be on time. We will not be waiting for late comers.

ITINERARY HIGHLIGHTS:

Gunung Chemendong Day Hike

05:15 AM – Meet at Marsiling MRT Station for a quick briefing. Please ensure you have breakfast before the meetup, or bring food to consume in the vehicle or prior to the start of the hike.

05:30 AM – Depart to cross the Singapore–Johor Checkpoint. Participants may purchase water, snacks, or other essentials at Johor Customs.

07:30 – 08:00 AM – Arrive at Gunung Chemendong Base. Meet the local guides and prepare for the hike. Safety briefing will be conducted.

08:15 AM – Commence the hike.

09:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Progress through Checkpoints 1 to 4.

12:30 PM – Reach the summit of Gunung Chemendong. Lunch and rest break at the peak (bring your own food and snacks).

01:00 PM – Begin descent.

04:30 PM – Arrive back at the base. Depart for dinner en route.

07:00 PM – Journey back to Singapore.

11:30 PM – Arrive at Marsiling MRT Station.
