Mount Ophir, or more commonly known by its Malay name, Gunung Ledang, is a mountain situated in the Gunung Ledang National Park located in Ledang District, Johor, Malaysia. The summit is located between the border of Muar and Malacca.

• Location: Gunung Ledang National Park, Malaysia
• This hike is suitable for people who are training for Mount Kinabalu, Gunung Rinjani, Gunung Semeru, Gunung Kerinci etc.
• Hiking Difficulty (Grade 7/10 with obstacles , ladders, rope, boulder climbing)

• Transport by Van (*group of 15Pax)
• Transport by  Coach (*group of 20Pax above)

Meetup Time: 03:00am (Please note we will depart 03:00am on 07 Feb 2026)

🗓 ITINERARY HIGHLIGHTS – GUNUNG LEDANG DAY HIKE

03:00 AM – Assemble at Marsiling MRT (midnight meetup)
03:05 AM – Depart from Marsiling MRT Bus Stop

After crossing the Johor Bahru checkpoint, we’ll stop for morning breakfast (at own cost) at R&R along the highway.
🛍 You may also buy any last-minute items such as snacks or water.
🍱 Please ensure your lunch packs are prepared before the hike.

06:30 – 07:00 AM – Arrive at Gunung Ledang National Park.
Before 07:00 AM – Prepare for the hike (you may leave unwanted items in the transport).
08:00 AM – Registration, safety briefing, and start of hike.

⏱ Important:

• Cut-off time at Checkpoint 4 (CP4) is usually around 11:00 AM.

• Participants unable to reach CP4 by this time will be required to turn back for safety reasons.

• Latest turn-back time is 1:00 PM, regardless of your position on the trail.

01:00 PM – Begin descent from the summit.
04:30 PM – Last participants expected to reach base. Freshen up, shower, and clean up.
05:00 PM – Depart for Singapore.
🍽 Stop for dinner en route (at own cost).

11:00 – 11:30 PM – Estimated arrival back in Singapore.

⚠️ Please Take Note:
Any participants descending later than the designated cut-off time will be subject to an additional fee payable directly to the local guide.
If the delay affects the return schedule, the taxi fare for our team leaders’ transport back to Singapore will also be charged to the late participants.

*itinerary may vary along the way accordingly to the weather condition on the day. There will be a late arrival fee at the park incase if you come down late from the summit. The park will charge an extra fee which need to be paid by the participants who arrive late at the gate from the summit descent.

• 1 sandal/slipper
• 1 headlamp / Torchlight
