Mount Bromo (Indonesian: Gunung Bromo), is an active volcano and part of the Tengger massif, in East Java, Indonesia. At 2,329 metres (7,641 ft) it is not the highest peak of the massif but is the most well-known. The massif area is one of the most visited tourist attractions in East Java, Indonesia. The volcano belongs to the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. The name of Bromo derived from Javanese pronunciation of Brahma, the Hindu creator god.

OVERVIEW OF ITINERARY:
You can consult with us on the booking of the flights, and on the event, day meet up with our local Driver at the arrival terminal of SURABAYA AIRPORT. Our LOCAL Driver will meet and greet the group. From there the group will depart for an adventurous journey.
Day 1: Arrival in Surabaya – Transfer to Ijen Hotel
Upon arrival at Surabaya Airport, you will be greeted by our private car for a comfortable 6-hour drive to the Ijen area. Check-in at the hotel and settle into your standard room with breakfast included. Enjoy the amenities of a cool and hot shower. The evening is yours to relax and unwind at your leisure.
Day 2: Ijen Hotel to Tumpaksewu Hotel
Today, we will be embarking on an unforgettable journey from Ijen to Tumpaksewu hotel. We will begin our day by waking up at 11:00 PM to prepare for the Ijen tour. We will check out of the hotel at 11:30 PM and head to the Paltuding area, which is a 2-hour drive from the hotel. Breakfast will be packed in a box for us to take away.
Upon reaching Paltuding at 2:00 AM, we will go through the permit post before starting our hike to Ijen. A local guide will accompany us on this trek. After traveling approximately 3km, we will reach the summit crater where we can witness the mesmerizing Blue Flame phenomenon. The Blue Flame is a natural occurrence caused by the high sulfur content in the area. It is recommended to use a gas mask due to the strong sulfur scent.
Ijen is known as the largest sulfur producer area, with many locals working as sulfur miners. You will have the opportunity to see the blue light from burning sulfur up close. The Blue Flame can only be seen in the dark and clear weather conditions. If it is safe and conditions permit (no warnings from the Volcanic Body), you can walk down the rim of the Ijen crater and observe the sulfur miners at work. You will also get to enjoy the view of the blue lake at the bottom of the crater and witness a breathtaking sunrise.
After this unforgettable experience, we will make our way back to Paltuding, arriving at the parking area around 7:00 AM. We will then continue our journey to the Tumpaksewu hotel area, with an approximate travel time of 5 hours. Upon reaching the hotel at 10:00 AM, we will check in and have some time to rest before enjoying a free program.
Day 3: Tumpaksewu Hotel to Bromo Hotel
Begin your day at Tumpaksewu – Bromo Hotel by waking up at 5:30 AM in preparation for the Tumpaksewu tour. We will depart for Tumpaksewu Waterfall at 6:00 AM, with a travel time of approximately 2 hours. The waterfall activity will conclude around 9:00 AM, after which we will return to the hotel for breakfast and to freshen up. Check-out time is at 11:00 AM, followed by a 5-hour drive to the hotel in the Bromo area. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and enjoy some well-deserved rest. The rest of the day is free for you to explore at your leisure.
Day 4: Bromo to Surabaya Airport / Hotel
Embark on an unforgettable journey from Bromo to Surabaya airport. Rise and shine at 2:00 AM to prepare for the Bromo tour. At 2:30 AM, a 4WD jeep will arrive at your hotel to transport you to the mesmerizing Bromo Tour. Traverse the sea of sand as we make our way to the renowned KINGKONG HILL Peak, a popular spot to witness the breathtaking sunrise. Next, we will venture to the Bromo Crater, descending through the sea of sand to reach the jeep parking area. From there, you have the option to walk or ride a horse to the base of Bromo, then ascend to the rim for a spectacular view of the crater. After soaking in the beauty of Bromo, we will return to the jeep parking area and head back to the hotel for a well-deserved breakfast. Check-out, followed by a scenic 4-hour drive to Surabaya airport to conclude the program.
