Tour Itinerary: Land of Nomads – The 2 Stans Explorer 

Day 1: Arrival in Almaty, Kazakhstan

Upon arrival in Almaty, you will be warmly welcomed by your local team — professional tour guide and driver. After hotel check-in, begin a guided city tour covering Almaty’s key highlights, including 28 Panfilov Park, the impressive Central Mosque, and the State Museum.

Later, visit Kok Tobe Hill, where you can enjoy a stunning 360-degree panoramic view of the city and surrounding mountains.

Day 2: Almaty → Bishkek (Flight Transfer)

Today, travel from Almaty (Kazakhstan) to Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) via flight transfer option.

  • ✈️ Flight (approx. 1.5 hours)

Upon arrival in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, check in to your hotel and enjoy free time to relax or explore the city. Choosing the flight option allows more leisure time in Bishkek.

Day 3: Bishkek → Burana Tower → Bokonbaevo Village

After breakfast, begin your Kyrgyzstan adventure by driving towards Bokonbaevo Village, located near Lake Issyk-Kul. En route, stop to visit the historic Burana Tower, a UNESCO-listed Silk Road monument dating back to the 11th century.
Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by scenic landscapes before continuing the journey. By evening, arrive in Bokonbaevo and experience traditional nomadic hospitality with a stay in a yurt.

Day 4: Eagle Hunters Experience & Horse Riding

Wake up to a peaceful nomadic morning and enjoy breakfast at the yurt camp. Today features a short horse-riding experience (approx. 1.5 hours), riding through open landscapes to meet the legendary Eagle Hunters.

Witness a live demonstration of this ancient hunting tradition, performed on horseback — a rare and unforgettable cultural experience.
Return to the yurt camp for lunch, followed by village exploration and light hiking in the surrounding mountains.

Day 5: Bokonbaevo → Kok Moinak Canyon → Bishkek

After breakfast, pack up and begin the drive back to Bishkek. Along the way, stop to explore the dramatic Kok Moinak Canyon, where you will enjoy short hikes and scenic viewpoints.

Lunch will be served in a village amidst nature. By evening, arrive back in Bishkek.

Day 6: Bishkek → Almaty (Flight)

Today, transfer back to Almaty, Kazakhstan, by flight journey. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy free time at leisure.

Day 7: Almaty → Charyn Canyon National Park

After breakfast, depart for Charyn Canyon National Park, often referred to as the “Grand Canyon of Kazakhstan.”

Formed over 12 million years, the canyon features spectacular red sandstone formations sculpted by wind and water. The canyon reaches depths of up to 370 meters, offering dramatic landscapes and excellent hiking opportunities.
Explore the canyon on foot, taking in its unique geological formations and spotting wildlife such as mountain goats and golden eagles.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 8: Kolsai Lakes National Park & Lake Kaindy

Today, explore Kolsai Lakes National Park, famously known as the “Pearls of the Tian Shan.” Located near the Kyrgyz border, the park features the Lower, Middle, and Upper Kolsai Lakes, along with the unique Lake Kaindy.
Activities include scenic walks, light trekking (suitable for beginners), or optional horse riding. The pristine alpine environment offers outstanding photo opportunities and tranquil natural beauty.

Day 9: Saty Village → Almaty

After breakfast and some free time around Saty Village, begin the drive back to Almaty. Arrive in the city by evening and enjoy your final night in Kazakhstan.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward journey back to your home country.

🚫 Tour Cancellation Policy

Once the tour has commenced, no refund shall be made for any portion of the trip not utilized by the participant. This includes, but is not limited to, services such as accommodation, transport, meals, or trekking arrangements that are unused due to personal reasons, illness, or early departure.

In the event that the tour or any part thereof must be cancelled, delayed, or altered due to Force Majeure conditions — including but not limited to adverse weather, natural disasters, flight disruptions, political unrest, or any other circumstances beyond the operator’s control —

  • The full tour amount is strictly non-refundable.
  • Every effort will be made to modify or reschedule the affected portion of the itinerary in coordination with local authorities and service providers.
  • Any additional costs arising from such changes (e.g., extended stays, alternative transport, or revised logistics) shall be borne by the participants.
