Mount Sumbing and Mount Sindoro are two mountains located in Central Java. Mount Sumbing is the second highest peak in Central Java at 3371 Metres, and Mount Sindoro is the third highest peak in Central Java at 3150 Metres.
The 4 days hike is a strenuous hike which requires a lot of climbing. This is a good training for those preparing for a longer trek, where you will battle the muscle aches to continue your ascend. It is also good for those preparing for higher mountains like Mount Semeru or Mount Kerinci.

Trail Difficulty: Moderate
Suitable for people who have good fitness level to walk for 6-7 hours in steep terrain. Have done some similar mountains in Indonesia like Merapi, Semeru, Rinjani or Malaysia G7 mountains.
Overview of Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrive in Semarang
Transfer to Wonosobo
1 Night in Wonosobo (Homestay Accommodation Included)
Day 2:
Begin Hiking to Sumbing
Hike to campsite at camp gajahan
Set up Tent and spend the night in Camp Gajahan (Tent Accommodation Included)
Day 3:
Summit Attack to Puncak Sumbing
Descend back to Homestay
1 Night in Homestay (Homestay Accommodation Included)
Day 4:
Begin Hiking to Sindoro
Hike to campsite at Sunrise Camp
Set up Tent and spend the night in Sunrise Camp (Tent Accommodation Included)
Day 5:
Summit Day to Puncak Sindoro
Descend to Basecamp
Transfer back to Homestay in Semarang (Homestay Accommodation Included)
Day 6:
Breakfast
Transfer back to Airport. Depart to Homecountry

Day 1: Base Camp to Camp Site of Mount Sumbing
• 0800: Ojek Transportation to Swadas
• 0830 – 1200: Hiking to Pos Mata Air
• 1200 – 1300: Rest & Lunch
• 1300 – 1600: Trekking to Camp Gajahan
• 1600: Set Up Tents, Dinner and Rest for the Night
Day 2: Campsite to Summit to Base Camp
• 0200: Rise and Shine
• 0300 – 0700: Hiking to Summit of Mount Sumbing
• 0700 – 0800: Photos at Summit
• 0800 – 1000: Descend back to Campsite
• 1000 – 1200: Rest, Lunch and Prepare for Descend
• 1200 – 1600: Descend to Base Camp
• 1600 – 1700: Rest
• 1700 – 1800: Transfer back to Base camp to spend the night before hiking Sindoro
Day 3: Base Camp to Camp Site of Mount Sindoro
• 0800: Ojek Transportation to Pos 1
• 0830 – 1200: Trekking to Pos 3
• 1200 – 1300: Rest and Lunch
• 1300 – 1500: Trekking to Sunrise Camp
• 1500: Set Up Tents, Dinner and Rest for the Night
Day 4: Campsite to Summit to Basecamp
• 0300: Rise and Shine
• 0400 – 0600: Trekking to Summit of Mount Sindoro
• 0600 – 0700: Photos & Enjoy Summit
• 0700 – 0800: Descend back to campsite
• 0800 – 1000: Rest, Lunch and prepare for Descend
