Lake Gunung Tujuh or The Seven Mountain Lake in English is a volcanic crater lake in the province of Jambi, Indonesia, located at 1°42′23″S 101°24′42″E within Kerinci National Park. Although a young lake, in geologic terms, its surrounding volcano, Mount Tujuh. The name “Danau Gunung Tujuh” translates as “Seven Mountain Lake,” a seeming reference to seven peaks comprising the forested rim. The tallest of them rises 2732m above sea level, while the lake surface sits at 2005m. The lake is a popular overnight hiking destination among Park visitors and is sometimes fished by locals.

Overview of Itinerary:
Day 1: SINGAPORE – BATAM – PADANG – KERSIK TUO
This package is inclusive of the 2ways Ferry from Singapore to Batam. Meetup with the SGTREK Event Coordinator at the Harbour Front (Singapore Cruise Centre) Level 2 Departure – Immigration Entrance by 7am. Depart to Batam Centre. From Batam Centre to Batam Airport we will take Taxi (*cost will be shared accordingly). Arrive at Batam Airport and depart to Padang Airport.
Book the flights from Batam-Singapore-Batam as per the details below. Upon Arrival at Padang Airport our LOCAL Guide will meet and greet the group. From there the group will depart for the adventurous journey.

19.00 Heading to Kersik Tuo about 5 to 6 hours drive
Late midnight Arrived at Kersik Tuo then check in homestay

Day2: TREKKING GUNUNG TUJUH (B, L, D)

16.00 Reach the last campsite then free and easy

Day 4: SUMMIT KERINCI – KERSIK TUO (B, L, D)
03.00 wakeup before 3am and preparation for summit

10.00 Trekking down to Kersik Tuo Homestay
16.00 Arrived at the homestay then free and easy

Day 5: KERSIK TUO – MINANGKABAU AIRPORT PADANG – BATAM – SINGAPORE
04.00am Wakeup and preparation for return to Padang
06.00am Return to Padang approximately 5 hours
02.00pm Arrived at Minangkabau Airport then trip end
7.30am Depart to Batam Airport, from Batam airport we will take taxi to Batam Ferry Terminal (*cost will be shared accordingly). We will take the 08.20pm Ferry back to Singapore. Around 11.00pm Arrive in Singapore or latest by late midnight. End of trip.
