Mount Pulag (2,926m) is the third-highest peak in the Philippines and home to the iconic Sea of Clouds. The Akiki Trail, famously known as the “Killer Trail”, is the most challenging and rewarding route to the summit—designed for fit, experienced hikers seeking a true highland expedition.
This trail features steep ascents, mossy forests, narrow ridgelines, and alpine grasslands, offering a raw and immersive mountain experience. Unlike the easier Ambangeg route, Akiki rewards perseverance with solitude, dramatic scenery, and a deep sense of achievement.
