SINGAPORE ROUND ISLAND ROUTE-Challenge

As announced by NPARKS, The Round Island Route (RIR) is a continuous 150 km park connector that goes around Singapore. It will complement the existing Park Connector Network, connecting existing natural, cultural, historical, and recreational sites and linking communities together. It will provide opportunities for recreational activities such as cycling, skating, jogging, and hiking. These connections and activities will enhance our ‘City in Nature’ experience for all residents. With a large interlinking network of park connectors, you can easily park hop while indulging in various fun and recreational activities. (Credits-NPARKS)

  3. I see your route to be off little bit here and there when i zoomed in. E.g. the part at East coast park, it goes off to the HDB part to nowhere and comes back on track again.
Do i really need to walk that portion too or can i just continue?
Am i correct to say that as long i have all 15 checkpoints and the path i take is in general, close to what the GPS route shows, i am deemed to have completed the challenge?

    1. Hello Ronnie,

Just follow up the PCN some places might be reroute you can use accordingly while you walk. You will need to take pics at all the 15CP and later once completed the whole route you can just email us.

  4. Hi
I would like to know . In order to verify that we complete the route ,we just take photos at the 15 CP and email you. We just need to be in the photos right ?

    Thanks

    Regards

    1. Helo Adelene, Yes you will need to walk/cycle the entire route and take the picture at all the checkpoint and make the submission to qualify for the completion of the route.

  5. Hi, for the western part between JOHOR STRAITS LIGHTHOUSE and SUNGEI BULOH WETLAND RESERVE VISITOR CENTRE, must we follow that GPS route taking that path near the cemetary or can we join back to the NPark’s Western Adventure Loop instead? I’m more concern of the safety and fitness of my family and friends going through that long route.

    1. Do kindly check your PM, we have responded you.
