Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival | Orangutan Encounter | Selabat Sunset Hike

Upon arrival at Kuching International Airport, meet your guide and transfer for lunch nearby.

After lunch, visit Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, one of the best places in Borneo to observe semi-wild Bornean Orangutans during their feeding time.

Later, check in to the hotel and enjoy free time in the evening.

Day 2 – Bako National Park Adventure

After breakfast, transfer to the jetty for a boat ride to Bako National Park, Sarawak’s oldest national park.

The park is renowned for its dramatic rock formations, coastal cliffs, and diverse ecosystems.

Highlights include:

Jungle trekking trails
Mangrove forest ecosystem
Scenic beaches and cliffs
Wildlife spotting opportunities

Animals commonly spotted include Proboscis Monkeys, wild boars, macaques, and a variety of bird species.

After exploring several trails, continue to a scenic sunset hike at Bukit Batu Selabat, a hidden viewpoint overlooking the coastline and surrounding rainforest.

In the evening, enjoy free time at the charming Kuching Waterfront, where you can explore local food stalls and riverside cafés.

Day 3 – Mount Santubong Summit Trek

Early morning transfer to the trailhead of Mount Santubong (810m).

This is one of Sarawak’s most famous hikes and offers a challenging yet highly rewarding climb.

Trail features include:

Dense tropical rainforest
Rocky ridge sections
Rope-assisted climbs
Steep jungle terrain

Upon reaching the summit, hikers are rewarded with breathtaking views of the South China Sea, nearby islands, and the spectacular Sarawak coastline.

After descending, return to Kuching for rest.

Day 4 – Kuching City Exploration | Departure

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning exploring the charming city of Kuching.

Optional places to explore include:

Kuching Waterfront
Local markets and souvenir shops
Cafés serving traditional Sarawak cuisine

In the afternoon, transfer to Kuching International Airport for your departure flight.
