ITINERARY OVERVIEW:
Day 01 | Arrival Padang ✈ – Alahan Panjang Twin Lakes
Upon arrival at Minangkabau International Airport (Padang), meet & greet with your SGTREK local guide. Begin with a short Padang city tour before departing on a scenic 3-hour drive along the Trans-Sumatran Highway.
The journey passes through Bung Hatta National Forest, cinnamon groves, and fruit plantations.
Stop at the beautiful Twin Highland Lakes – Danau Diatas & Danau Dibawah, where you can enjoy a short walk and photo opportunities. Lunch will be served at a simple local restaurant en route.
After lunch, continue to Alahan Panjang and check in to your homestay. Enjoy free & easy time with stunning twin lake views.

Accommodation: Twin Lake View Cottage / Homestay (Alahan Panjang)
Day 02 | Alahan Panjang – Pagaruyung Palace – Harau Valley
After breakfast, check out and depart for Harau Valley (approx. 5 hours’ drive including stops).
En route, stop at Lake Singkarak for scenic views and photography. Visit the iconic Pagaruyung King Palace, a symbol of Minangkabau culture and heritage.
Continue the drive to Harau Valley, arriving in the afternoon. Check in and enjoy a relaxed evening surrounded by dramatic cliffs and nature.

Day 03 | Harau Valley – Bukittinggi Tour
After breakfast, explore Harau Valley, famous for its waterfalls, towering cliffs, rice terraces, and lush scenery.
Later, drive to Bukittinggi and check in to your hotel. Proceed for city sightseeing including:
- Chinatown area
- Panorama Viewpoint
- Japanese Tunnel (Goa Jepang)
- Evening walk around Jam Gadang (Big Clock Tower) and night market, a landmark from the Dutch colonial era
Dinner and overnight stay in Bukittinggi.

Accommodation: Canyon Jungle Stay / Similar (Bukittinggi)
Day 04 | Bukittinggi – Maninjau Lake (Puncak Lawang)
Early breakfast, then check out and depart towards Maninjau Lake.
Stop at Puncak Lawang, a breathtaking viewpoint overlooking Lake Maninjau from above. Continue to visit Rumah Buya Hamka, the museum and home of a renowned Minangkabau scholar and national figure.
Proceed to lakeside accommodation and enjoy a peaceful evening by Maninjau Lake.

Day 05 | Maninjau Lake – Padang City
After breakfast, check out and travel to Padang City via the famous Kelok 44 road, one of West Sumatra’s most scenic mountain routes (approx. 3 hours).
En route, enjoy short stops at:
- Malalak Coffee Stop with mountain views
- Strawberry farm
- Rice terrace viewpoints
- Views of Mount Singgalang
Arrive in Padang, check in, dinner, and rest.

Day 06 | Padang – Departure ✈
After breakfast, visit the Adityawarman Museum for insights into Minangkabau history and culture. Enjoy short shopping stops en route before transfer to Minangkabau International Airport according to your flight schedule.
