THINGS TO TAKE NOTE:
Please be advised that trekking and mountain climbing in the region, including the Lukla domestic flight, are subject to weather conditions. Inclement weather in mountainous regions can lead to delays or cancellations of domestic flights. In the event of a delayed or cancelled flight, clients are responsible for covering any additional expenses, such as food and accommodation costs, as well as personal expenses before or after the trip.
However, our Local Partner will handle all other necessary arrangements according to the schedule, including accommodations for guides and staff in case of flight delays or cancellations. Should you wish to arrange an alternative mode of transportation, such as a helicopter flight to avoid delays, any additional costs will be the responsibility of the client. Please note that our Local Partner does not assume liability for costs incurred due to missed international flights, but we will assist in making alternative arrangements whenever possible.
We recommend allowing for extra time during your trek or climb in the Himalayas and ensuring that your international flight ticket is flexible. Please be aware that changes to the itinerary may be necessary due to unforeseen circumstances such as landslides, natural disasters, inclement weather, or health issues while on the trip.
